These two recipes are whole grain based by using oats! For both recipes the oats will be ground up in a blender or food processor. These are both very easy and can be made the day before serving! I actually made the Shortbread in about an hour on a Saturday, then mixed together the crust for the raspberry pie that eve and assembled the pie and baked it before my Mom came to brunch at ten! Because of the whole grains they are lovely morning or afternoon treats!
