Many stories to relate and photos to upload which we will do later this month. First, we wanted to tell you how hard it was to choose the pottery items. Wow! Your mom was an incredible and prolific artist. Looking at her artwork brought back so many shared memories of the lake, many in which you were very young. This generated over 90 minutes of active discussion and debate between Kathy and I regarding the specific order (and the many that we couldn't include). Melissa loved sunflowers so that had to be first choice. Gathering flowers with Grandmama, picking blueberries with my dad, making our canoe in Ely. and the (caramel) coffee and chicory that your parents brought back from New Orleans to share with us. Such fond memories! Thank you for sharing all of this with family and friends.
