Bryan and I will remember Ruthanne for her bright smile, her warmth, and her deep appreciation for beauty, whether in the form of arts, in plants, and in the simple pleasures of life. We especially treasure the times we shared over good food and wine, exchanging (many) stories, (many more) laughter, and perspectives on life.
Ruthanne had a remarkable way of meeting life with quiet strength and stoicism, finding a way to make lemonade out of lemons and reminding those around her that even difficult circumstances can hold an unexpected silver lining. That perspective was both admirable and inspiring to us.
A talented potter, she also left pieces of herself in the beautiful things she created with her hands. She will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered and celebrated through our memories of her and through the pottery pieces we have selected. These pieces will remain meaningful reminders of her creativity, spirit, and the life she shared with us, all of which we will continue to cherish.
