As a budding ceramic artist myself, I loved scrolling through her pottery. I look forward to seeing/feeling any piece that you are able to send us!

I somehow only have one photo of your mom from my wedding--I have such clear memories of chatting with her while you guys were in town for that. The most notable moment was when she gave us our gift. It was a silver candelabra, with three small removable glass dishes (for appetizers? for more candles? for fun?). She said that it was a wedding gift from my nana when she married your dad. It was a lovely and meaningful item, but I think she must have sensed me puzzling over how I would make use of it, because she then leaned in conspiratorially and whispered "I never used it either". If I'm being honest, since then it has stayed in the same beautiful box that she gifted it in, tucked away with the rest of my china. However, it seems like perhaps the time has come for it to be used. I think I'll pull it out before dinner tonight and light it in her honor. <3
